Is the 2022 Honda Odyssey the perfect minivan? For its numerous features and price, it very well may be.
The Honda Odyssey comes with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that generates 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. This is paired with a smooth-shifting 10-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard.
Not only does this Honda minivan have outstanding power, the engine is surprisingly quiet. It’s also quite agile for a big vehicle and always remains composed through curves. You’ll be impressed with the suspension too, as the Honda Odyssey offers a very comfortable drive.
Depending on the setup you go with, you can fit either seven or eight people in this minivan, and all three rows are very roomy. Cloth upholstery, an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a 4-way power-adjustable front passenger seat are standard.
If you opt for Honda’s Magic Slide seats in the second row, you’ll have a lot of flexibility, as they can move forward, backward, or even sideways. Other available features include leather upholstery and heated and ventilated front seats.
Cargo room in this new Honda depends on the trim you go with. You can get up to 38.6 cubic feet behind the back row, 92.3 cubic feet when it’s folded, and 155.8 cubic feet with both back rows down.
Every Honda Odyssey comes with a 7-speaker stereo, a USB port, push-button start, and Bluetooth®. If you’re looking for more, you can get:
There are also a few unique available features. CabinWatch can show an image of the second and third rows on the touchscreen. CabinTalk lets the driver use a microphone to communicate with passengers. CabinControl allows the driver to control all of the climate settings, as well as the rear-seat entertainment system.
The new Honda Odyssey is loaded with safety components, including lane keep assist, forward collision warning, road departure mitigation, and automatic emergency braking. Rear cross-traffic alert and blind spot monitoring are available as well.
