One Program, Three Tiers of Excellence

The Honda Certified Pre-Owned program is divided into three tiers: HondaTrue Used, which applies to vehicles made between 2012 and 2022; HondaTrue Certified, which can apply to vehicles made between 2017 and 2022; and HondaTrue Certified+, which applies to Honda models produced in the last two years.

Both HondaTrue Certified and HondaTrue Certified+ carry a 7-year/100,000-mile limited powertrain warranty and entitle you to two free oil changes up to a year after purchase. Not only that, but these two tiers feature coverage for up to 5 years/86,000 miles on non-powertrain components.

To qualify for any of these tiers of excellence, a contending vehicle must pass a rigorous inspection by Honda technicians. This entails a 182-point inspection where any single point of failure results in a complete repair or the vehicle is disqualified.
