San Diego, Calif. – April 23, 2012 – Sunroad Automotive is celebrating its 35 years of being a part of the community by honoring its heroes. In support of the families of current and former military personnel, Sunroad Automotive is donating to the local military USO from the proceeds of its month-long Military Appreciation Sale.  Automotive customers who purchase a vehicle during the month of May will be helping Sunroad Automotive donate a pledged $21,000 to the local USO.  In addition to the donation, the San Diego-based company will be offering huge savings and special discounts to active and retired military members.

Sunroad Automotive kicked off this event on Tuesday, April 24th, at USO’s weekly Tuesday Night Dinner where its employees personally served the families in attendance and paid for the dinner.

“We are proud to serve the families of our community’s heroes. They have embraced us whole heartedly with their big smiles and great gratitude when they’ve endured so much for our country. This is just our small way of extending our appreciation for their continued sacrifices.”  said Wayne Meyer, president of Sunroad Automotive.

Proceeds of the sale will also benefit USO’s weekly dinners, store, concerts and volunteer program. Active and retired military are encouraged to purchase a vehicle during this time to support these programs.

Sunroad Automotive was established in San Diego in 1984. Its dealerships that are participating in this event include:  Pacific Honda, Toyota Chula Vista, Scion Chula Vista, Kearny Pearson Ford, Kearny Pearson Kia, Kearny Mesa Infiniti, Kearny Mesa Subaru, Kearny Mesa Hyundai and BMW South County.<

Pacific Honda would like to wish Mary Squires a BIG CONGRATS on being the recipient of a makeover for her Honda Civic.  We were thrilled to be able to provide paint work and dent removal, shiny new wheels, tires, complete interior detail and the necessary maintenance to make sure it's running in tip top shape!

We would like to extend our great appreciation to the fine people at Pacific  Honda!  We were thrilled to receive word that we were the winners of their  2011 Honda Make-0over contest as we love our Honda 4 door civic for its  reliability, economy and zip around town.

All the people we met, from Mr. Neslon, the general manager, to Bill, the  Service Manager to Mike at the service counter were top notch professionals,  friendly, generous, helpful and informative regarding our car and our < family's needs for our car.

We are now part of the Pacific Honda family, as we trust that the care and  concern for our vehicle is something that trust continue.

Our car looks spectacular from the superb paint job, to the new tires and  wheels to all the maintenance provided under the hood.   I love driving my  renewed Honda and we are very grateful for all that Pacific Honda has  provided!

What are BBB ratings?
BBB assigns ratings by evaluating businesses in the following categories:

  • Any advertising issues found by BBB

  • Whether complaints have been resolved in a timely manner or the business has demonstrated it made a good faith effort to resolve them

Ratings are determined by a proprietary formula that represents BBB’s opinion as to (1) the importance of each category, and (2) the appropriate score given to the business for each category.
