For performance-oriented customers, Accord V-6 models produce 71 more horsepower and 68 lbs.-ft. more torque than Sonata's most powerful 4-cylinder engine. The 2011 Sonata does not offer a V-6.
All Accord models use an advanced Drive-by-Wire throttle system pioneered in Honda's motorsports programs to optimize engine response for available traction, power output, and reduced emissions. A Drive-by-Wire throttle system is not available on the 2011 Sonata.
