2017 Honda Fit: Just the Right "Fit "

The 2017 Honda Fit is an optical illusion on wheels. From the outside, it looks like what it is: a city-friendly hatchback that you could practically parallel park with your eyes closed. Climb in and it's a different story. Many of the Lemon Grove customers served by Pacific Honda marvel at the fact that something that looks so tiny from outside feels so spacious inside.

2017 Honda Fit Details

The 2017 Honda Fit is available in three trims (LX, EX, and EX-L), with the same powertrains as the 2016 model. All trims get the 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that puts out 130 horsepower. A six-speed manual transmission is standard on the lower trims, while a CVT is optional (or standard on the top EX-L trim).

You may choose to option in Sport Mode with a paddle shifter if you take delivery of the CVT, but it comes standard on the EX-L trim. Likewise, opt for the upper trim if you prefer sixteen-inch alloy wheels to the fifteen-inch steel wheels on the LX.

2017 Honda Fit Safety and Special Features

One thing that's particularly impressive about the 2017 Honda Fit: all safety features except one are available on all trim levels. The sole exception is that the upper trims get dynamic guidelines on the multi-angle rearview camera while the base trim doesn't. All in all, this is one safe hatchback.

As safe as new Honda cars are, one doesn't choose a car on the basis of safety alone. You'll want a bit of fun while you're driving as well. To that end, the Honda Fit has optional Bluetooth hands-free and streaming audio, plus digital file playback via an AM/FM/CD stereo. The four-speaker sound system can be traded for one with 180 watts, Pandora compatibility, and the Next Generation HondaLink infotainment system.
